Preview: Swallows vs Wits
Pretenders to the Castle Premiership league title Moroka Swallows and Wits University will meet at the Rand Stadium on Wednesday afternoon in a league clash.

Swallows have not beaten the Students this season but Gavin Hunt is quietly confident his team can turn the tables come kick off.

"They beat us in the first round and last season we could not get a win against them either," Hunt said.

"However my players are ready and aware that a place in Africa is at stake and we'll do our best to erase their record over us."

Wits beat their visitors 1-0 with 10 men after Gert Schalkwyk was sent of in the 16th minute for a foul on George Hummel in their first game of the season.

Hunt has identified Alois Bunjira and Charles Yohane as the Clever Boys' danger men.

"They've got a very good, disciplined team who have not conceded many goals. It will be tough to break down their defence and at the same time players like Yohane and Bunjira have to be watched. So it will be a very interesting game."

Right-back Peter Petersen is the only player who will miss the game due to a suspension, while Roger De Sa will also be missing a defender in Neil Winstanley.

"It's going to be a tough game for us and despite our record against them, that's merely a statistic," De Sa said.

With Winstanley missing De Sa will have to re-shuffle his team to deal with Swallows gangly striker Lungisani Ndlela.

"Ndlela has been scoring goals lately and with his height advantage he is a problem for any team.

"With Neil out I do have able replacements but the boys will be ready for them."

The Dube Birds are fourth on the Castle Premiership table with 39 points from 21 games while The Clever Boys are seventh and have 34 points from 18 games played.

Kick off is at 16:00pm.
