Possession is vital - Mazibuko
Moroka Swallows captain Goodman 'Dolphin' Mazibuko says that it is vital for the Birds to dominate in the possession department in their Coca-Cola Cup game against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.

Despite the danger posed by Amakhosi striker Collins Mbesuma up-front, Mazibuko believes that the main danger to his side comes from the skillful Chiefs midfield.

"The more Chiefs have the ball, the more damage they can do. I don't want to give away our game plan, but one of the things we will be trying to do is make sure we look after the ball while we have it," the skipper told SoccerLaduma.

Mazibuko has gained a reputation as the 'hardest-working-player-in-the-PSL', and he will need to live up to his name on Saturday in order to keep the likes of John 'Shoes' Moshoeu at bay.

"I think that its the Chiefs midfield that makes them tick so if we can win that battle then we have a good chance. Shoes will be trying to make things happen, but I will be making it very difficult for him as will the rest of the team."

The Beautiful Birds may not have the best record against Chiefs in recent times, but the tough-tackling Birds skipper says his team do not fear the Amakhosi.

"If Chiefs think we are scared of them in any way then they are very mistaken. I think we can win this one," he said.
