The South African Under-23 squad will head to Botswana to play two international friendlies against their neighbours north of the border.
The opening match will be played at the National Stadium in Gaborone on Tuesday.
"The second one will take place at the same venue on Saturday," Safa national teams director Barney Kujane said. "Our players will assemble in Johannesburg on Tuesday and leave for Gaborone on the same day.
"The technical staff would like to use the two friendly games to prepare for the All Africa Games finals and qualifying rounds of the 2004 Olympics Games," he added.
Coach Kenneth "Continental" Kubheka has selected the majority of players who are not regulars at their respective clubs to avoid disrupting the domestic fixtures.
"We wanted to expose the youngsters that we have selected to international football," said Kubheka.
