Coghill Confident Ahead Of Bafana 30/04/03
Jamaican coach Roger Coghill is happy with his team's preparations for tonight's international friendly with Bafana Bafana at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.

The Reggae Boys are using this match as preparation for their Concacaf Gold Cup campaign in July. That tournament features the best teams from North and Central America. The top three teams in that event automatically qualify for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Although he is missing two of his star players, Ricardo Gardiner (Bolton Wanderers) and Kevin Lisbie (Charlton Athletic), Coghill is convinced his side can give Bafana a run for their money.

Their training session at Hartleyvale on Tuesday night went well and they will be hoping to go one better than the 1999 1-1 draw between the sides at the National Stadium in Kingston.
