More cash For 2010 Bid 30/04/03
On the day before South Africa officially launch their bid to host the 2010 Soccer World Cup, pay channel SuperSport have joined the party, offering R10million in support of the campaign.

The TV station join BMW, Anglo American, Momentum Life, Phillips, Southern Sun and FNB as official sponsors of the bid campaign, which has already accrued some R50 million in sponsorship on its way to a target of R80million.

SuperSport will provide media services, including 18-half-hour bid programmes, the televising of two Bafana international vs Jamaica and England, as well as a 24-hour bid channel when the Fifa inspection period begins.
