Mother Of All Games For Warriors 02/05/03
Ajax Cape Town coach Gordon Igesund says Sundays game against fellow strugglers Bush Bucks will be their biggest of the season by a long way.

The two teams clash at Newlands in what will go a long way towards determining who takes the drop down to Division One along with African Wanderers.

Bucks are currently occupying the second relegation spot following their 4-0 loss to Orlando Pirates, while the Urban Warriors moved up to 14th spot in the Premier Soccer League table following a 2-1 win over Manning Rangers at Chatsworth.

And another win for Igesunds troops will leave them five points clear of Trott Molotos side and all but clear of danger.

The game against Bucks is our biggest of the season by far, the coach said. If we beat them well be five points clear, while they still have to face Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in their final two matches.

We are approaching all our remaining games as Cup finals. Sundays game at Newlands will be our first Cup final, and one Im obviously desperate to win. A draw will do, but for obvious reasons Id prefer the three points.

Ajax lost the corresponding fixture at the ABSA Stadium in East London back in December, with the home side scoring a late goal for a 3-2 win.

Igesund will no doubt be looking for a reversal of fortunes on Sunday, particularly given their good form of late that has seen them lose only once in seven games.
