Name Change For Stars 07/06/03
Silver Stars will play under the new name of Dangerous Stars when the Premier Soccer League kicks off next season.

Stars, who won promotion to the top-flight by winning the First Division Inland Stream, also have a new co-owner on board.

Kick-Off reports that former Dangerous Darkies owner Robert Gumede has bought out Joseph Mapfalagashas 50 per cent share at Silver Stars and will now run the club along with Larry Brookstone.

Stars, who caused a major upset in the ABSA Cup when they defeated newly-crowned PSL champions Orlando Pirates, will join First Division Coastal Stream winner Amazulu in the top-flight.
