Dumitru Is Top Man At Kaizer Chiefs 11/06/03
Contrary to reports in Jo'burg rag The Star this morning, Ted Dumitru, and not Phillipe Troussier, has been appointed as the new Kaizer Chiefs coach.

Dumitru is a veteran of the South African game having coached a number of clubs in the Premier Soccer League, as well as the Zambian and Swaziland national teams.

The 62-year-old has also coached successfully overseas, including in his native Romania.

Meanwhile, SASoccer365.com can confirm that Dillon Sheppard will not be unveiled as a Chiefs player tomorrow, as reported by some media. The player is currently on trial in Russia and is likely to sign for an unspecified club in that country.
