Orlando Pirates coach Roy Barreto looks set to remain in charge of the Buccaneers for two years at least, despite rumours doing the rounds that he could be on the way out.
Despite the coachs success in guiding a young and inexperienced Pirates team to the Premier Soccer League title in his first season in charge, there have been certain segments of the Bucs supporters who have been unhappy with his selection policy, saying that the former Free State Stars man has favoured the players whom he brought with him from his previous club.
Some fans have also been unhappy at the managers decision to keep midfield star Steve Lekoelea sidelined and are blaming him for the fact that their favourite son could be about to leave the club.
But Pirates brand manager Zodwa Khoza says that Barreto will remain at the club as he still has two-years left of the three-year contract he signed. She went on to say that Barreto will definitely be in charge for the upcoming Vodacom Challenge Cup this weekend.
