Former Kaizer Chiefs, Ria Stars and Orlando Pirates star midfielder Thabang Lebese is back in training with Sundowns, after apparently having "gone missing" for the last two weeks.
Since leaving the Buccaneers, Lebese has been linked to both Wits and Sundowns. The last anyone knew of the player's whereabouts was that he was training with the Clever Boys a fortnight ago, before mysteriously disappearing.
He has now re-surfaced at Sundowns and has been training with the Brazilians since Monday, fueling rumours that he will sign up for the Pretoria-based club.
If Lebese can regain the form that he showed in his earlier years, then he could prove to be a very good acquisition to Sundowns, who are in the process of building a squad capable of winning the Premier Soccer League and taking on Africa's best.
Meanwhile it seems that Roger Feutmba, the former midfield general and now assistant coach, could be leaving the Brazilian camp.
The Cameroonian had a long and distinguished playing career with Sundowns but has admitted that he was unhappy while in charge of the team last season, when the results were not going his way.
And staying in the Brazilian camp, striker Hareaeipha "Simba" Marumo will have to sit out the rest of the week after picking up a slight injury to his right leg.
Marumo joins Michael Manzini on the sidelines after the tough tackling defender suffered a knock in last Saturdays Telkom Charity Cup match against Kaizer Chiefs.
