Cape Town Youngster Off To Old Trafford 19/09/03
Dr Barry Busch, the general manager of the Old Mutual Football Academy, spoke to SAsoccer365.com about their talented prospect 17 year-old Brent Sables who is going for a try-out at English giants Manchester United.

"Brent will be going to Manchester United to train with the youth team for 10 days, he's a defender-cum-midfielder, well a utility player at that and he'll be leaving this Sunday." Dr Busch said.

Frank Lord is the talent scout for Manchester United who saw Sables at the academy and arranged for his trial at the Theatre Of Dreams, the home of the Red Devils.

"Frank spotted him as being a good prospect for United, and that is why the youngster is going. Frank is involved directly with the coaching and works closely with the players."

The Old Mutual Football Academy has been in existence for just over a year and compete in the Tygerberg football associations' league. They have only under-15 and under-17 teams and are looking at establishing another age group team soon.
