Pirates Victorious In Giyani 20/09/03
Orlando Pirates have moved up to third on the Castle Premiership log after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Dynamos in Giyani on Saturday.

The win was just the second of the season for Roy Barreto's side and leaves Dynamos second from bottom with just two points from five games.

The opening goal for the Buccaneers came as early as the eighth minute, after a fine header from defender Lucas Tlhomelang following a Steve Lekeolea cross.

The Pirates midfielder was at the heart of most of what the visitors managed to create, reminding Bucs fans just what an influential player he can be when on top form.

Pirates continued to pour forward in search of a second goal, Benedict Vilakazi and Jimmy Khauleza going close in the first half.

The game was all but over as a content six minutes after halftime when referee Lawrence Monnathoko dismissed home defender Helder Muianga for a second bookable offence, but Pirates failed to really take advantage of there numerical superiority.

Vilakazi struck a post just after the hour-mark, but the visitors finally got a second goal when Sibusiso Mazibuko found the back of the net.
