The dates and venues for the opening round of the Coca-Cola Cup have been announced on Thursday, with the games spread out over a two week period.
The opening match on October 4 is the mouth-watering clash between Absa Cup holders Santos and current Castle Premiership league leaders Kaizer Chiefs at the Athlone Stadium.
The following day sees Moroka Swallows take on Sundowns at the Rand Stadium, while later that day SuperSport United travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium to face Silver Stars.
There is a double-header at Newlands in Cape Town on Wednesday, October 15, when Ajax play host to Dynamos and Hellenic take on Jomo Cosmos.
The action is then carried forward to that weekend when Wits University travel to Thohoyandou to face Black Leopards on Saturday, October 18, and Golden Arrows host Zulu Royals on the same day.
Finally, Manning Rangers host Orlando Pirates on October 19 in the final game of the round.
