The Pretoria duo of SuperSport United and Sundowns both face potentially tricky encounters on Sunday against Durban sides Golden Arrows and Manning Rangers respectively.
SuperSport, who are currently sitting comfortably in mid table, will know that with a squad of their quality they should be higher up in the Castle Premiership standings.
They will be looking for maximum points when they travel down to Durban to face Abafana Bes'thende, but will be fully aware of the difficult encounter they face against Khabo Zondo's men, who are renowned for their attractive football.
Sundowns will be even more desperate for three points after a dismal start to the season which has seen them currently languishing in the third last position on the log.
The might Maulers have enjoyed a good start to the season, although they did come unstuck against Swallows in the week and will be looking to bounce back with a win when they travel to Pretoria.
Steve Khompela's outfit look a very different side this season, and as they have a game in hand on most of the teams above them, a win would put them right back up amongst the pace setters.
Striker Alton Meiring has been in red-hot striking form so far this season and Down's coach Oscar Fullone will need to instruct his defence to be on full alert to deal with the threat the former Brazilian striker will pose to them.
