Bafana Bafana captain Mbulelo Mabizela is finding life at Tottenham Hotspur harder than expected with the former Orlando Pirates skipper complaining of bad treatment from some of his new team-mates.
"There are certain players who want to make me uncomfortable," the former Maritzburg City player told Metro FM.
"I will not name names, but I want to raise this with management," he added.
Mabizela has never been under any illusions as to the enormity of the task he faces, but still finds it hard to comes to terms with the treatment he has been receiving.
"I know it's tough. But I'm prepared to work hard and win a place (in the starting line up). I'm aware that other players like Quinton Fortune and Lucas Radebe initially struggled as well."
"However this has affected me so badly that I'm never happy at training. It affects my performance negatively."
Mabizela is also concerned that the reason for his bad treatment is the fact that he is a foreigner.
Although "Old-John" or "OJ", as he is now known in England, is finding the going tough at the moment, he has no intentions of returning to South Africa at present, and is hoping that "things will change for the better".
