Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Donald Ace Khuse believes the arrival at Naturena of head coach Ted Dumitru has led bad boy Jabu Pule to clean up his act.
The Romanian-born coach rejoined the Soweto glamour club a few months ago as last seasons caretaker coaches, Doctor Khumalo and Khuse, were relegated to assistant roles.
Speaking in the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, Khuse says: "For some reason this season Jabu seems like a changed person. Maybe its because he likes Ted Dumitru.
That can sometimes be all it takes for a player to get back on track.
Khuse also says that confidence and dedication are the keys to unlocking Pules undoubted potential.
"When you are doing the type of things Jabu tries to do with the ball on the pitch you have to have a lot of confidence in your ability and Jabu seem to have a lot of that at the moment," he is quoted as saying.
"The other important thing is that you need to put in hard work on the training field.
"Jabus attitude is good this season. He is working really hard on the training pitch and that is what has helped make a big difference."
