Lekoelea Madly In Love 13/10/03
Orlando Pirates bad boy Steve Chippa Lekoelea has fallen head-over-heels in love with a sexy Popstar finalist, according to a report in a weekend newspaper.

Speaking to City Press, the 25-year-old Lekoelea reveals he lost his heart to sexy Letang Tlome, a finalist in the Coca-Cola sponsored television programme and a member of music band Adilah.

Lekoelea, who has enjoyed a welcome return to form with the Buccaneers this season, reportedly told the singer's host of adoring fans to "back off as I want to make that woman my queen."

He told the Sunday paper he first spotted Tlome on the popular talent show and vowed to get her telephone number because "that's my dream girl, and I believe my search for a soul mate is over.

"I have even told my teammates I am in love with Letang. She makes me weak and feel like falling on my knees.

"I want to take her to my home and introduce her to my family.

The Sebokeng-born former Bafana Bafana player, who has a fiver-year-old son with another woman, also says he will abandon his playboy ways if he gets involved in a relationship with Tlome.

"I don't think this (having a son with another woman) should worry Letang.

"I will let her be part and parcel of my son's life."

Tlome told City Press she was eager to meet Lekoelea "as I am single and available."
