No Rush For A Coach 30/10/03
Khabo Zondo resigned as the coach of Golden Arrows and joined Sundowns 48 hours later.

Arrows are not in disarray following the departure of Zondo and have looked to his assistant Nkosinathi Biyela for guidance.

SAsoccer365 spoke to the public relations officer, Zwelethu Mzolo,  about the assistant coach's automatic appointment.

"Biyela has been with the team for a while and has assisted Khabo well," said Mzolo.

"We are not looking to appoint a coach right now as management believes he is capable of delivering the goods. He does know the team and has a good understanding with them."

"We'll wait for the results to assess his worth and will then make a decision on his status as coach. We're in no hurry as we're confident he is the right man for the team."

Biyela will have his first test on Sunday against neighbours Manning Rangers in a Coca-Cola cup quarter final game.

Abafana Bes'thende finished fifth on the Castle Premiership last season and were dismissed by Kaizer Chiefs in last year's Coke Cup quarter finals.
