Chiefs Stand By Musasa 31/10/03
Kaizer Chiefs have said they will stand by star striker Kambaba Musasa and will  use him for their Coca-Cola Cup clash against Ajax Cape Town on Saturday at Ellis Park.

The DRC international player for the Amakhosi is out on bail after being charged with tampering with telephone lines for profit.

However, Chiefs have confirmed they are not going to suspend the player, or drop him from the side.

"Musasa was arrested and is out on bail, we asked him to give us his side of story and he did and I'm very happy to say that we believe him, he is innocent," Amakhosi PRO Putco Mafani told SASoccer365.com on Friday.

Musasa is being charged, together with his brother Bubu Emmanuel, for using Telkom lines to make illegal international calls. They are both out on R2000 bail each.

"In any case, one is innocent until the court has found one guilty. Musasa has not been found guilty and so there is no point in not using him" added Mafani.
