The axe has already struck in the Vodacom Second Division league in anticipation of the new national division one league next year.
Safa has taken over the administrations of the Limpopo, Free State, and the Western Cape offices.
The take over means that the regional co-ordinators of these three regions are without jobs because everything is now been run from Johannesburg.
These changes mean that the other regional co-ordinators will also face the chop.
The SAFA executive will be meeting on Tuesday to decide what to do with the co-ordinators. In the mean time, Don Muday and Nomvuyo Mdladlamba are the ones who are running these regions from the head office.
The SAFA director of competitions, Selokela Zacharia Maselte said that SAFA is going to restructure the regions from nine into five regions.
