Dynamos have drawn 1-1 with Wits University in a Castle Premiership game at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Steve Komphela spoke this week of how he had studied the Wits defence carefully in an effort to break down a team that had not conceded a goal and in 10 top-flight games this season.
It appears to have worked after Joel Seroba became the first player this campaign to beat the Students goalkeeper Wayne Roberts unbeaten run of clean sheets in the 10th minute of a fast-paced game.
Alois Bunjira grabbed the equaliser in the 70th minute to keep the Clever Boys unbeaten run going.
The home team have only found the net six times in 10 Castle Premiership games and it is ironic that they found the net against a team who has now conceded their first goal in 11 league fixtures.
Wits are now three points behind league leaders Santos and have 21 points from five wins and six draws.
The Giyani-based team is second last on the log with seven points from seven draws and four losses.
