Both Moroka Swallows coach Gavin Hunt and captain Gary McNab believe the team should have beaten Golden Arrows by a wider margin on Sunday.
A brace from Lucas Sebona gave the Dube Birds a 2-1 win over Abafana Bes'Thende at the Rand Stadium, but the home team were left to rue many missed chances.
"I think we should have and could have done better considering the possession we had," Hunt told the club's official website.
"We did play well but the guys should have scored more goals so we'll have to work on that aspect of our game."
McNab agreed with his coach but was full of praise for two-goal hero Sebona.
"We could have scored two, maybe three more goals as we enjoyed greater possession and attacked really well," said McNab.
"We allowed Arrows into the game after we went 2-0 up and they scored, however we bounced back and withstood the pressure they put on us.
"Lucas first goal was fantastic, an overhead kick that was spectacular and deadly," added McNab.
"He played really well and so did the rest of the team in securing the three points."
Swallows next Castle Premiership fixture will be against Ajax Cape Town at Newlands Stadium on Wednesday evening.
