Veteran Moroka Swallows defender and captain Gary McNab is confident that his team can upset Ajax on Wednesday evening at Newlands Stadium.
McNab briefed the official Moroka Swallows web site on the Birds away game in Cape Town.
"We are ready, the coach has a full squad with no injuries or suspensions and hopefully we can get three points against Ajax," the 32 year-old McNab.
"We have worked on our game plan this morning, set-pieces, formation. You know tactics are important as it differs from team to team."
The hosts will have at least four key players missing but McNab does not underestimate a team with reserves that held Orlando Pirates on Sunday afternoon to a 1-1 draw.
"They have good players despite missing three or four regulars. That shows their strength since they held Pirates to a 1-1 draw."
"We will play to our abilities and not allow them to dictate matters as they are capable of doing that especially at home."
"They have Nathan (Paulse) who is a big striker and is dangerous in the air because I believe Mugeyi (Wilfred) is out. And there's also that speedy winger on the left, but we've got our plans worked out so I'm not worried."
"We can get the three points as we've got the experience to win away games," McNab added.
In their previous game away from home Swallows beat Sundowns 2-1 at the Odi Stadium in a Castle Premierhsip fixture.
