Amabhakabhaka In Champions League 16/12/03
Defending Castle Premiership champions Orlando Pirates will take on Matlama of Lesotho in the preliminary round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League according to the official CAF web site.

The first leg will be played in the 'Mountain Kingdom' on the first weekend of March next year, and then Pirates will host Matlama on the weekend of the 19th of the same month for the second leg.

Bucs and Supersport United are the two South African representatives in the Champions League, while Santos and Wits University will contest in the new CAF Confederation Cup.
