Moroka Swallows showed no mercy on bottom club Hellenic on Wednesday and will be looking for some of the same when they tackle Jomo Cosmos at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Sunday.
The Ezenkosi beat Zulu Royals 2-1 last Sunday to snap a seven game winless streak and they too will be desperate to end their year with a win against the Birds.
The clash will be the first meeting of the adversaries since Cosmos beat Swallows in the final of the SAA Supa 8 earlier in the season.
What seems to puzzle people is that Cosmos perform very well in Cup games but when it comes to the league it is a different story.
Both teams will be looking to celebrating the festive season by taking three points from their last game before the break.
Players capable of delivering the goods for Swallows are Alois Ngwerume and Lucas Sebona for the Birds.
Ngwerume came in as sub against Hellenic and turned provider for Sebonas first goal before netting a goal himself.
For the Ezenkosi, captain Tico-Tico Bucuane will be leading from the front and trying to show the young strikers how to score again, especially Russell Mwafuliwa, who showed so much promise last season, but is not finding the net too often any more.
