The South African Football Association is to investigate allegations that Bafana Bafana players and assistant coach Roger De Sa went on a drinking spree ahead of crucial games at the recent Africa Cup of Nations.
Safa CEO Albert Mokoena announced on Tuesday that Bucs Molatedi would head a committee that will look into matter.
"I have no knowledge of this. That is why we decided to ask Molatedi to form his committee this week and come back to us to tell us if there is any substance to the reports," Mokoena said at a press conference on Tuesday.
De Sa has vehemently denied that he and nine players boozed it up prior to clashes at the AFCON claiming they had merely gone out for fish and chip.
The players have also dismissed the allegations as complete fabrication.
