African World Rankings 18/02/04
On the latest Fifa World chart South Africa has only dropped two places, despite their dismal performance at the 2004 African Cup of Nations tournament in Tunisia.

Cameroon (13th) remain the African leaders on the world chart, although they were elimanted in the qaurterfinals by Nigeria who ascended 14 places to position 21.

Newly-crowned African Cup champions Tunisia also leapt 14 places to 31 following their historic triumph over Morocco in the final game of the tournament.

Brazil are still number one in the world followed by France, Spain, Netherlands and Mexico.
