Maulers face stern test 27/02/04
The under-achieving Manning Rangers will have to fire all their cylinders if they are to progress to the next round of the Absa Cup when they face the fired up Division One outfit, FC Fortune at the Athlone Stadium on Friday evening.

FC Fortune are currently playing some good football in their division where they are second on the table and coach Collin Gie's boys have what it takes to go to the last 16 teams in the lucrative competition.

Roy Barreto, the Rangers coach has not managed to transform the Mighty Maulers since he took over the hot seat from Steve Komphela and the side has slipped into 14th position on the PSL log.

Playing at Athlone stadium, FC Fortune will have the added advantage of having the Santos fans on their side.
