Roses overcome Young Masters 29/02/04
Roses United beat fellow non professional side, Mabopane Young Masters 2-1 at the Rand stadium on Saturday afternoon in an Absa Cup match.

United put their name into the hat for the last 16 of the cup by scoring twice in the second half.

Masters were reduced to 10 men in the 33rd minute when Pillay Setsoe was sent off by the ref for a dangerous tackle.

Jeromamang Mahase put United ahead in the 55th minute through a well taken shot, but Masters came back with a superb goal scored by Selelo Maputla two minutes later.

Daniel Letlonkana scored the winner in the last seconds of the match to give Mabopane Young Masters no chance of coming back.
