Kaizer Chiefs were without their favourite son, Jabu Pule, for yesterday's Absa Cup clash against Sundowns after he once again went missing.
PRO Putco Mafani confirmed that the Chiefs management had no idea where 'JJP' was.
"Pule never reported with the rest of the players last night. We have heard nothing from him.
"If anyone knows where he is could they please contact us," he said.
The talented but ill-disciplined player has been in scintillating form this season and seemed to have turned the corner with regards to his wayward ways, especially after having been recalled to the Bafana Bafana squad for the recent African Cup of Nations.
But now he appears to be up to his old tricks again and Mafani and the Chiefs management must surely be losing patience with the Pule, as the Chiefs PRO showed in his statement to the player on national TV.
"You are taking advantage of this team which has supported and protected you.
"The fans are demanding to know where he is, but we cannot tell them", said a visibly upset Mafani during the half-time break in yesterday's Absa cup game at the Odi Stadium.
