Hunt wishes Sebona well, welcomes Scott 01/03/04
Speedy winger Lucas Sebona chose to sign for Sundowns because he was not happy with sitting on the bench at Moroka Swallows.

This is according to Swallows coach Gavin Hunt, who said he was sad to see the player go but understood his plight.

Lucas is a good player but unfortunately I can only select 11 players for any given match, said Hunt.

I wish him well at Sundowns and hope he gets to play regularly.

Sebonas move to the former Castle Premiership champions sees unsettled striker Carlo Scott moving in the opposite direction to join the Dube Birds.

Scott never really managed to establish himself at Downs following his big-money move from Ajax Cape Town three seasons ago.

He spent some time back in the Mother City last campaign on loan to Santos but despite impressing failed to agree terms with the Peoples Team.

Meanwhile, Hunt also confirmed that the club has offered former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs star midfielder Thabang Lebese a one-year contract.

He also said that he had signed Pitso Lekone from Supersport United while confirming that they have parted company with Keryn Jordan who joined Manning Rangers.
