Kaizer Chiefs chairman has slammed Sundowns coach Paul Dolezar for almost inducing a riot during last weekends Absa Cup clash at the Odi Stadium in Mabopane.
Amakhosi ran out comprehensive 3-1 winners in the first round tie, but Motaung has lambasted Dolezars behavior in his latest column on the clubs official website, www.kaizerchiefs.com.
The conduct of Sundowns coach Paul Dolezar on the day was totally unbecoming, and this could easily have caused a riot in the stadium, writes Motaung.
Throughout the game, he would incite the crowd when decisions did not go his way.
He remonstrated and even followed the referees, whilst they were being pelted with objects by Sundowns supporters, to their dressing rooms at halftime.
One would expect this gross transgression of authority to have been noted by the league, and for suitable action to have been taken, adds Motaung.
Goals from John Shoes Moshoeu, Sibusiso Dlamini and Jabu Mendu saw Chiefs move into the last 16 of the tournament.
Hilton Jordaan scored for the Brazilians.
