Benni McCarthys scintillating form continued in Portugal this weekend when he scored the only goal in Porto's league game against Boavista on Saturday afternoon to take his team to the top of the Portuguese Division One.
The hard running striker scored his latest goal on Sunday when he put his name on the score sheet in FC Porto's 1-0 win over Boavista in the Portuguese League.
The Cape Town-born striker is now the top goal scorer in the league with 17 league and four cup goals this season.
The win leaves Porto 10 points above Sporting Lisbon at the top the table with just less than 10 matches to go.
McCarthy will also be playing in his first UEFA Champions League quarterfinal when his club play French club Lyon at the end of this month.
