Maybe We Can Win the league - Hunt 22/03/04
Coach Gavin Hunt is realistic about his teams' chances to win the league and says he is rather concentrating on getting a place in Africa next season.

Hunt gave the official Birds website his thoughts on the championship.

"I don't think we'll win the league championship," he said seriously.

"Mathematically we could but then we'd have to rely on Chiefs and Ajax losing games and you can't plan around the hope of them failing."

Hunt is confident though that his team can maintain their place and make it to the African Confederations Cup or the African Champions Cup.

"My aim now is to qualify for the African competitions and take the team to another level.

"We're on course to do doing that, we just have to maintain our winning form."

The Dube Birds are fourth on the Castle Premiership table and have 39 points from 21 games and are seven off the pace of log leaders Santos.

Do You think Huntie's plan is justifiable?
