Struggling Leeds United are set to offer one of their most senior player Lucas Radebe a one year contract extension when his current contract expires in the summer.
Radebe, the former Bafana Bafana captain has spent more ten years at Elland Road with Leeds and at one time he was the team captain.
His playing career has been dogged by injuries and he has played only ten matches for his club this season.
Leeds are having some cash flow problems and Radebe's testimonial match which is due this season is in doubt at the moment.
The 'Chief' as Radebe is known to Leeds fans has said that he will not move to another club even if Leeds are relegated.
