Wednesday's readers letters... 21/04/04
SASoccer365 readers' letters on Swallows' win over Pirates, the contoversy surrounding Ajax striker Mulekalayi Kanku and more on Kaizer Chiefs coach Ted Dumitru.

Happy Birds fan

Its' a happy week for me and fellow Birds supporters. A victory against Pirates is always sweet, but Sunday's was even sweeter in that we were not given a chance.

The mystery of who is Kanku was always going to catch up with Ajax at some point. A weekly soccer newspaper had highlighted the point of his multiple identity when Kanku refused a call up to the AFCON squad late last year.

Knowing the nature of SA football, one team was bound to raise this question especially during this time of the season. Hope PSL sort this one out quickly.

My football heart wishes that nothing sinister is found regarding the matter as this will put a damper on what has been an exciting race for the League Championship.

Even though Chiefs are in a pole position to win the League, I do not think they need " any assistance" from the Boardroom or anybody except their team.

We might see the intensity and excitement of the last five games being shifted to the teams vying for Top 8 finish and relegation and a cruise for the Championship race, though Chiefs might prefer it that way.

However if any team is found to have broken any rules, be it Royals, Silver Stars or Pirates, due processes have to followed and the relevant punishment as stipulated by the rules should be applied.

This should serve as a lesson for other teams when securing services of players, especially from DRC, to verify their identity and age.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the Pirates defender from DRC is not 22yrs as he alleges.

SAFA also need to have another mechanism in place, besides the documentation process, when verifying details of foreign players.

Hope this matter is resolved speedily and to the benefit of the game!

To all anti Kaizer Chiefs people

Every time when bad decisions by the referees are against Chiefs the journalist, media and supporters they don't say anything, but when it is on Chiefs favour they cry out loud.

Actually they don't like anything associated with K4L when Ted was complaining when he was with other teams they said he was right.

Even now they are starting to compare Ted and Gordon yet  deep down in their hearts they know who is the better coach. They are doing this because he is at Chiefs next time he at another team he will be the best coach.

By the time Gordon will come to Chiefs he will be called a mediocre coach. And to all you out there anti-Chiefs people you envy K4L period.

Your teams will take them a century or more to achieve what K4L has in 34 years referees or no referees help.

Ted please shut-up and concentrate on your job.

I am sick and tied of seeing this monkey face every time I open this website. Maybe he want's to be the editor of SASoccer365 - why cant he follow the right channels.

Last time he was the one who was complaining about the referees because he was on the losing side. Now he is denying other people to say their views about the same referees. He thinks he is the only one who can identify the weak point of the referees.

Hey, broer let me tell you. Even a grade 1 child can see which team is favoured to take the league by your friends (Referees). I wonder for how long will they continue doing Chiefs those favours.

Ajax is right by complaining, because it is very strange to all of us, except Kaizer Chiefs.

Why now? The league is at the critical stage and the only threat is Ajax, therefore the only way to pave way for Chiefs is to destroy Ajax. Not in the field of play, but in the dark boardroom at Naturena.

I hope you will celebrate you fake wins.

Good luck.
