Pule keeping himself in shape 02/06/04
Jabu Pule may have missed out on the glory of winning the league title with Kaizer Chiefs, but instead of letting his 'misfortunes' get him down, he has been busy training on his own in order to stay fit.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder has been training for up to four hours a day to keep himself fit while he waits around hoping for his career to get back on track - hopefully with an overseas move.

Pule's agent Mike Makaab, has apparently arranged for a personal trainer to look after the troubled star at an undisclosed location in Sandton.

The player has been training twice a day for two hors at a time and has also been doing some roadwork.

His contract with Amakhosi ends at the end of the month and as yet there is no move for him on the horizon.

Pule has been out of the Chiefs squad for a couple of months now after the club's management finally lost patience with his constant behaviour problems.

Speculation has since been rife as to where he will next play, if at all, with Sundows being one club that he was linked with a move to.

But the player has said that he favours an overseas move, which may not be easy for him to get as his discipline problems are likely to scare potential clubs away.

Chiefs will be hoping that Pule finds a club before becoming a free agent so that they can still make some money on any possible deals.
