The objective of the NSL Telkom Charity Cup Trust is to protect, promote and restore the socio-economic well being of the disadvantaged persons in South Africa.
The NSL Charity Trust was established in 1986 (18) years ago to address the above.
The founders agreed that the principal manner in which the funds are collected would be through the annual staging of a soccer event.
Funds received, including interests on monies will subsequently be allocated to beneficiaries at the sole discretion of the trustees in terms of amount and nature.
The trustees shall keep proper records and accounts reflecting truly and correctly the administration of the assets and shall ensure that a balance sheet and income statement is prepared annually.
The annual financial statements are subject to audit by auditors appointed by the trustees.
