Orlando Pirates are expecting to advance through to the next round of the Confederations Cup by beating Sable de Batie of Cameroon at the Orkney Stadium tonight.
Bucs brand manager Zodwa Khoza says that the team is well prepared and has promised that the club will fly the flag high for South African soccer in tonight's match.
"We have been working hard during our pre-season training over the past two weeks and everything has been going according to plan," she said on the Amabhakabhaka website.
"We would like to promise the whole of South Africa that we won't disappoint them, we are going to Orkney to pocket the three points at stake."
She added that Bucs are aiming to win by a high-scoreline in order to make the return leg in Cameroon in two weeks time an easier task.
The team will travel to Mmabatho immediately after the game in order to be ready for Sunday's Vodacom Challenge semifinal clash against AS Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Kaizer Chiefs play TP Mazembe (DRC) in the other semi-final and the two Soweto Giants will be hoping to come up against each other in the final.
Pirates are still under the guidance of care-taker coach August Palacious as they are yet to announce the name of their new manager.
