Ajax Cape Town have promoted Franklin Cale to the senior squad following the youngter's impressive performances in the club's reserve team.
The left-winger has been with the Urban Warriors for three years and has been training with the first-team since the start of the season.
Cale, who spent last season on-loan at Steenburg United in the Vodacom Second Division, expressed his delight at moving to the senior squad.
"This is a dream come true," said Cale. "When I started at Ajax playing for the Under-19 team, I always aimed to win a place in the professional team.
"Now that I have signed, I will work hard to win a regular place in the starting line-up and hopefully make the Bafana side in time for the 2010 World Cup."
Senior coach Gordon Igesund added: "Cale has potential, he is very quick, but is a late developer."
Cale started his football at East End FC before moving on to Celtin Spurs and FC Fortune.
