Manchester United star Quinton Fortune has pulled out of Bafana Bafana's international friendly with Tunisia in Tunis on Wednesday night.
The midfielder sustained thigh muscle injury during the Red Devils' 1-0 loss to Chelsea on Sunday.
The South African Football Association (SAFA) issued a statement confirming that fortune will miss Wednesday's match, which will serve as a warm-up to Bafana's World Cup qualifiers next month.
"A first scan indicated that injury would sideline Quinton Fortune for up to a month, but more tests would be conducted today (Tuesday) to confirm this diagnosis," said SAFA
"He will regrettably not be available for our match against Tunisia on Wednesday," said SAFA.
"Coach Stuart Baxter, having spoken to Fortune, would await the final medical result before arriving at any conclusion."
The 27-year-old has come under fire for constantly pulling out of international matches and last year the United star pulled out of an international match, only to star for his club the very next day.
