Sundowns appoint new CEO 23/08/04
Mamelodi Sundowns has appointed Peter Manda as the Chloorkop side's new Chief Executive Officer on Sunday.

Club president Patrice Motsepe ended weeks of speculation by appointing former Diplomacy, intelligence, Defence, Trade, Education and Training Authority CEO Manda, to handle the day-to-day running of the club.

Manda's management skills is said to have tipped the post in his favour and is said to be a soccer fanatic.

He was born in Soweto and played amateur soccer for Kliptown Home Killers and is said to have been a decent footballer.

He was previously the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of North West until 1998 and received an LLB Degree from the Witwatersrand University and an LLM Degree from Georgetown University in the United States of America.
