Must win fixture - Mosimane

Supersport United coach Pitso Mosimane insists their Castle Premiership clash with Bush Bucks at the ABSA Stadium on Saturday afternoon is a "must-win" fixture.

"This will be a very difficult match for us," Mosimane told SASoccer365. "The players are mentally very tired from all the football they have been playing."

However, Matsatsantsa will be without inspirational skipper Ricardo Katza, who sustained a knee injury during their 1-1 draw at Golden Arrows on Wednesday afternoon.

Mosimane also lamented on his side's failure to register a win in regular time, with their last victory in normal time coming in their final match of last season, a 8-1 win over the now relegated Zulu Royals.

Although United continue to create several chances, their lack of finishing in front of goal is a major concern.

"We have not won in 90 minutes for a very long time. It is important for us to win on Saturday, for the players, the fans and the club on a whole," he said.

"Our strikers, especially Tico-Tico (Bucuane) must still come to the party. But we understand Tico needs time to settle and we will grant him that."

"Dale Studzinski has been doing a great job for us upfront and he is an unorthodox striker, who is difficult to deal with.

Mosimane confirmed that United will treat every game match as a cup final until they secure that elusive first win.
