Derbies are always tough - Mashaba 27/08/04
Black Leopards line up for a tough Limpopo derby on Saturday afternoon when they host Dynamos at the Thohoyandou Stadium in a Castle Premiership fixture on Saturday.

Leopards coach Shakes Mashaba is in a jubilant mood as he must be one of a very few coaches in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) who has an injury-free squad to choose from.

"I am very fortunate that we have a clear bill of health here at Black Leopards," the former Bafana Bafana boss told SASoccer365.

"Sibusiso Dlamini has a calf strain, but he is expected to be fit for the Dynamos clash."

Mashaba conceded that he is concerned with Lidoda Duvha's inability to convert their chances into goals, especially considering that they have being playing so well, albeit it that they lost their opening two matches, both cup competitions, to Kaizer Chiefs and drew their opening Castle Premiership match 1-1 at Celtic.

"We need to win this match," he added. "The players need this victory to boost their confidence, although the mood in the camp is still very high.

"We must score goals in order to win matches and that is something we are not doing at the moment."

He also warned that Dynamos are a dangerous side will be looking to register their first point of the season.

"Dynamos will come out fighting and will take us on from the start," added Mashaba. "There is so much talk of all the problems happening at Dynamos and that might just be incentive for the players to say 'let's just get out there show everybody how good we can play'.

"I Can't predict the outcome of a game as they are all so different, but we can expect a positive result."
