Supersport United registered their first win of the new season when they beat Bush Bucks 1-0 in a Castle Premiership match played at ABSA Park in East London on Saturday evening.
The visitors, Supersport made their intention known in the opening minutes of the match with their traditional one-touch passing football but they could not find the opener.
Castle Premiership newcomers, Bucks were looking for their first points since they were promoted but their strikers never threatened the goal of United in the first half of the match with the score still at 0-0 at half-time.
Bush Bucks came back dominating in the second half and their strikers were just unlucky to not find the back of the net.
Supersport stunned their hosts when winger Richard Rantjie scored in the 60th minute to give his team the lead which they held on to until the final whistle.
Supersport United moves to second on the table with five points from three outings and the East London based Bucks languishing second from bottom after two matches.
