Goal shortage for Bucs continues 29/08/04
Golden Arrows played out a goal less draw against their more fancied opponents, Orlando Pirates, in a Castle Premiership match played at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The match started at a very slow pace with both teams playing a cautious game, but as the minutes ticked away, the pace increased to the excitement of the sizeable crowd who were at the stadium.

When the referee blew for the half time break, none of the two teams had the better of the other in any department.

After the breather, Pirates came back looking for an opener, they were playing the ball wide to their wings and the Arrows' defence was exposed when they came out and tried to stop the visitors before they had a chance of coming too close to the goal area.

All the advantage that Pirates had was in vein - they played much better in the second half, they had more ossession of the ball and they had plenty of shooting chances, but all that could not amount to a win when the ref blew the final whistle.
