Clubs beat transfer deadline 01/09/04
Several Castle Premiership clubs have beaten the transfer deadline on Tuesday night by dwelling in the transfer market.

Busiest of the Premier League clubs was Silver Stars, who signed five new players.

The Limpopo side signed Kasongo Bukasa from Ajax, Victor dos Santos (Sundowns), Richard Ferreira and Nicholas Chazika (both Supersport) and Solomon Mathe (Pirates juniors).

Black Leopards registered Elphus Kekana and Jeffrey Mbokota and signed Patrick Tshisikhawe from Jomo Cosmos, while Bloemfontein Celtic signed Lucas Tlhomelang from Pirates.

Bush Bucks secured the services of Jacob Mokhasi, Phillip Wire, a Kenya international, and Phumlani Mhamha from a local Umtata side.

Kaizer Chiefs signed Songwe Chalwe from Zambia and registered 17-year-old goalkeeper Isaac Khune.

Sundowns signed former striker Raphael Chukwu, while Golden Arrows signed Lloyd Mumba from fellow Durban team Rangers.

Pirates signed Bafana Bafana star Tyren Arendse from Santos, as well as Zambian Isaac Chansa and Nigerian Clement Bissong.

Manning Rangers got Frank Makua from Supersport and Moroka Swallows registered Parksy Kobolo from their junior ranks.
