Bloemfontein Celtic beat visiting Manning Rangers 1-0 in a Castle Premiership encounter played at the Seisa Ramadobu Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The winning goal for Celtic came in fourth minute of the match when Moses Spandeel scored with a well taken shot that sent the Rangers goalkeeper the other way.
The score line did not do justice to the way Celtic were playing, they were dominating in almost all departments to the delight of their fans, who filled the 15 000 seater stadium.
The defeat was the second in a row for Bruce Grobbelaar's Rangers after they were beaten 2-1 by Moroka Swallows on Wednesday night.
Of the six games that Rangers have played this season, they have managed only one win, drawn one and lost four matches, leaving them with just four points.
From the same number of games as Rangers, Celtic have drawn three, lost one and won two games in their first season in the Castle Premiership after they were promoted from the First Division.
