Payback time for Birds against Chiefs 30/11/04
The Coca Cola Cup clash between Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday is going to be pay-back time for Swallows after almost two years of losing to Amakhosi in Cup competitions.

Swallows team manger Bennet Mstshali has declared that the defeats are over at the hands of their rivals in Cup games and the squad in ready for the battle come Saturday.

"Chiefs have been knocking us out of Cup games for the last two seasons but this time around they are the ones who are going out of the Coca Cola Cup," insisted Mtshali.

He also confirmed that the squad has a clean bill of health and says that the players are highly motivated to bounce back from last week's loss to Bush Bucks.

"All the players are fit for this encounter and they want to make Amakhosi the victims for last week's defeat in the Castle Premiership match at the hands of Bush Bucks," he added

Mtshali said that they have not changed their training methods just because they are playing Chiefs.

"We have not changed what we do at training or started training twice a day just because we are playing Chiefs. The players know what is expected of them and above all this is a Cup game and we want to win this Cup like no other team," he declared.
