Swallows, Rangers get first bite 03/03/05
Moroka Swallows and Manning Rangers will get the Absa Cup last 16 underway when they meet at Chatsworth Stadium on Wednesday.

The draw for the country's biggest Cup competition pitted some of the leading sides against each other, with the dates for the games having now been announced.

Saturday will see another three games being played, with the tie between Jomo Cosmos and Sundowns at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium arguably the best of the lot.

Supersport United play host to lower league outfit Tornado, while Orlando Pirates welcome struggling Black Leopards to the Kings Park Soccer Stadium in the late kick-off.

On Sunday, Kaizer Chiefs and Wits University square off in the tie of the round at the FNB Stadium.

Premier Soccer League sides Santos, Dynamos and Bush Bucks will all face lower league opposition in Cemforce, Dangerous Darkies and People's Bank Spurs respectively.

The last 16 Absa draw is as follows:

Wednesday 9 March

19h30: Manning Rangers v Moroka Swallows - Chatsworth Stadium

Saturday 12 March

20h15: Orlando Pirates v Black Leopards - Kings Park
15h15: SuperSport United v Tornado - Caledonian Stadium
15h15: Jomo Cosmos v Sundowns - Royal Bafokeng Stadium

Sunday 13 March
